What is an ELD?
An Electronic Logging Device (ELD) is a device that connects to a vehicle's engine to automatically record driving time and hours of service (HOS) for commercial drivers.
Who needs to use an ELD?
Most commercial motor vehicle drivers who are required to maintain Records of Duty Status (RODS) must use ELDs. There are some exceptions for short-haul drivers and certain vehicle types.
Is TRUCKER TRACE ELD FMCSA certified?
Yes, TRUCKER TRACE ELD is registered with the FMCSA and meets all requirements specified in the ELD mandate.
